CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

10.8.13 WOD

Athletes, I just want to hit a few things really quick. First I would like to know what you all think of the new pull up rig. Do you all like the placement? Post in the comments or on our Facebook and let us know what you think. Second those of you that are doing this I ask that you please stop or I will need to make some changes to the way we run mindbody. Ok so here is the problem. I am having members sign in to a class and filling it up, which is a good thing. The problem comes when those people that sign in decide to cancel last minute, then it won't give others a chance to sign in. I ask that if you know in advance that you are not coming to a class that you signed up for to cancel early. Like a few hours early. I know emergencies and work happen and I get that, but we are having member sign up for a month in advance to make it easy and they are not taking in to consideration the others when they cancel at the last minute. So just think of others and please cancel ahead of time, so others can sign in. If not I will be forced to stop signing in for the entire week/month what ever it may be.

Thanks Coach Leo

I like the added stations, and the extra room around the corner. What I don't like about the rig placement is you take two steps in the door and run into someone doing squats. You have to kind of squeeze around them just to go sit down on those awesome benches. Not a very inviting entrance. Maybe if it was pushed away from the front door towards the back a little...
