Complete 24 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are box jumps, the second 8 are ring push-ups, and the third 8 intervals are sit-ups. There is no rest between exercises.

Young people have more "elasticity" in their bodies. Old people (like you...not me) are unable to fire their core muscles as quickly as younger folks (like me...not you)!
Not sure if my analysis has any physiologic credibility.
