CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

2.25.14 WOD

Details on what the Open will look like at NSXFit this year, we hope you are all getting excited!

Thursdays at 5 PM starting 2/27: Each Open WOD will be announced and we will be streaming live at the box. You can also watch online at http://games.crossfit.com/.

You have until the following Monday to complete your WOD in front of one of our certified judges (1 judge: 1 athlete). If you are a potential Regionals or Masters competitor, get with Coach Leo before completing your first WOD. 

5 athletes can complete their WOD Thursday immediately following the announcement, Friday afternoons/evenings are open and we will be meeting at the box starting at 9:30 on Saturdays through the end of the Open. 

There will be a calendar at the front desk so you can sign up to complete your WOD. In case of an emergencies and work related issues please reschedule on the calendar at the front desk or contact Coach Leo. There must be a certified judge counting and approving your reps.

Potluck to follow every Saturday, bring a dish for everyone to share and BYOB. Best time of the Open!
