CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

Saturday EOD

Today's workout is the "31 Heroes" WOD that was put together in remembrance of the 31 heroes who died in action on August 6th, 2011.  Though this was meant to be a fundraiser, we will do the workout to honor their memory & to remind us of the sacrifice these men made for the country.

“31Heroes”
As many reps as possible in 31:00 minutes of: 8 Thrusters, 155# (105#)
30 Pull Ups
(this is a sub for 6 rope climbs of 15')
11 Box Jumps, 30" (24")

This is a partner WOD – partner #1 will perform the work listed above. Partner #2 will run 400m with a weighted object (~45#/~25#). Once partner #2 returns from the run, partner #1 will grab the object and begin their 400m, while partner #2 continues work wherever #1 left off. Team's score is total # of reps.

We will use either a kettlebell or bumper plate to carry.

You can visit the 31 Heroes site HERE

Thanks to all who showed up to participate in the
"31 Heroes" WOD.  Though it was tough, it is minor compared to the sacrifice of our servicemen & servicewomen who put their lives on the line for our country each day.  In 2 weeks we'll be in the middle of our Fight Gone Bad 6 fundraiser--another chance to remember our fallen & injured heroes.

Have a great weekend & show up for our Monday morning workout!!
